The meeting began with a welcome address from the nodal officer. Dr Satyavati K, Dean gave a brief insight into the workings of core committee in KVGMCH, and applauded Dr Holla’s dedication and consistent efforts for the betterment of RNTCP.
Dr Holla gave an overview of the previous quarterly meeting and the progress hence, with specific regard to case detection in RNTCP, use of NIKSHAY software and involvement of interns in RNTCP.
This was followed by an update on status of TB in KVGMCH between May and August 2018 by Dr Aishwarya S, with respect to cases detected department wise and details regarding pulmonary and extra-pulmonary cases.
Dr Badrudeen M.N, District TB officer communicated that ~50 cases were detected through ACF in July 2018.
The meeting concluded with a query clarification session by Dr Holla and administration of vote of thanks.
