General Health Camp

KVG Medical College & Hospital, conducted General Health Camp on 23rd Sep 2018 at Crescent School Mahadevpet Madikeri for Natural calamities victims as well as the people who lost their livelihood because of devastating rains.  Camp started with inaugural ceremony function by Mr. K.S. Sundar Raj Dy SP Kodagu. In inaugural speech he told about importance and need of the health camp for victims as well as general public.  Dr. Geeta Doppa Prof & HOD OBG Dept KVGMCH, in her speech she told about the   services & facilities available in KVG Medical College  hospital.  Dr.Satish Shiva Mallaiah Camp convenor he told about the importance of this camp. In the inaugural function Mr. Abdulsalam President Jamathe Isalami Hind Mangalore Zone, Mr. Mohammad Marakada Secretary H.R.S.  Karnataka,Mr. K.G. Peter   Muncipality Member Madiker, Dr. Sudhkar  Prof & HOD OPHTHALMOLOGY, KVGMCH, Dr. Mohan Appaji Prof & HOD ENT Dept KVGMCH,Mr. Chandrashekar Sr. Manager KVGMCH Sullia, Mr.Shashidhar PRO KVGMCH,Mrs. Mokshita Director Tri colour Academy Madikeri, KVG Medical College Hospital camp team, and    other organizing  members like Humanitarian Relief Society,Jameath Islami Hind, Prabhudda Noukarara Okkuta , A.L.G. Crescent School, & volunteers   were  present in the function. In the Camp Specialist doctors from Gen Medicine, OBG, Pediatric, Gen Surgery, Dermatology, OPHTHALMOLOGY, ENT & Ortho departments were provided services to the patients.

Dean

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan is a alumna of Thanjavur Medical College, where she obtained her medical degree. She further pursued her MD in Physiology from Madras Medical College and an MBA in Hospital Administration from Alagappa University.

Throughout her academic medical career, Dr. Natarajan has served in various capacities at several prominent institutions, including Madras Medical College, Madurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Government KAP Vishwanathan Medical College in Trichy, and Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchipuram. With over 20 years of administrative experience, she has held the position of Dean in multiple medical colleges for more than a decade. Her expertise in faculty training within medical education has earned her widespread recognition.

In addition to her administrative roles, Dr. Natarajan has served as an assessor on the Medical Council of India (MCI) panel for over 15 years. She was also an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University and Secretary of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Natarajan has completed an Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME). Since 2019, she has been serving as the Dean at KVG Medical College and Hospital in Sullia.
