Orthopedic Services We Provide

Among the other special services for adults and children are :
Adult Reconstruction and Arthritis Service offers diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for adult patients with degenerative and inflammatory arthritis. Among special procedures are hip and knee reconstruction, hip and knee replacement, and arthroscopic procedures.
Foot and Ankle Service offers a full range of care, including reconstructive foot surgery and treatment for fractures and other injuries, as well treatment for foot and ankle problems associated with diabetes. Special services include treatment for degenerative foot condition, fusion procedures and joint replacement.
Joint Replacement Surgery – Medic Medical is a leader in joint replacement. Our expert orthopedic surgeons also perform more single joint replacements – including knee and hip surgeries, as well as joint replacements for shoulder, ankle, hand and wrist, and big toe – than any other hospital in the region.
Bone Density Testing at Medic Medical, we offer a fast, easy and painless test that can show if you are at risk for broken bones associated with osteoporosis. Our state-of-the-art scanner – called a DA bone densitometer – shows existing fractures of the vertebrae in the spine. It also shows low bone density. These are two leading signs of bone breaks associated with osteoporosis.

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan is a alumna of Thanjavur Medical College, where she obtained her medical degree. She further pursued her MD in Physiology from Madras Medical College and an MBA in Hospital Administration from Alagappa University.

Throughout her academic medical career, Dr. Natarajan has served in various capacities at several prominent institutions, including Madras Medical College, Madurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Government KAP Vishwanathan Medical College in Trichy, and Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchipuram. With over 20 years of administrative experience, she has held the position of Dean in multiple medical colleges for more than a decade. Her expertise in faculty training within medical education has earned her widespread recognition.

In addition to her administrative roles, Dr. Natarajan has served as an assessor on the Medical Council of India (MCI) panel for over 15 years. She was also an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University and Secretary of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Natarajan has completed an Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME). Since 2019, she has been serving as the Dean at KVG Medical College and Hospital in Sullia.
