GANESHOTSAVA – 2026

Introduction

The KVG Campus Ganeshotsava Samithi organised the Ganeshotsava celebration on 14 September 2026 with great devotion, enthusiasm and active participation from the Management, Dean, staff, students, public representatives, local leaders and former employees of the institution.

The celebration was conducted throughout the day with religious and devotional activities, creating a vibrant and spiritual atmosphere across the campus.

Celebration Proceedings

The celebrations commenced in the morning with the arrival of the Lord Ganesha idol at the campus. The idol was received by the Management, Dean, Staff and Students with due respect and devotion. The idol was then taken in a procession accompanied by a band, with enthusiastic participation from staff and students.

Following the procession, the idol was installed at the designated place after performing Ganapathi Pooja as per tradition.

Throughout the day, Bhajana was conducted by the employees of the institution. The devotional programme created a spiritual atmosphere and witnessed active participation from the employees and members of the campus community.

At noon, Annadanam was arranged for all the students and employees. Approximately 2,000 students and employees were served. The arrangements were carried out smoothly with the cooperation and support of the campus community.

The celebration was also attended by public representatives, local leaders and former employees of the institution, who were invited to participate in the festivities. Their presence added significance to the occasion and strengthened the bond between the institution and its wider community.

Ganesha Visarjana

In the evening, the idol of Lord Ganesha was taken in a grand procession for Visarjana. The procession witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Management, Dean, staff, students, public representatives, local leaders and former employees.

The Ganesha Visarjana was completed at 9:00 p.m., bringing the day’s celebrations to a successful and devotional conclusion.

Conclusion

The Ganeshotsava celebration organised by the KVG Campus Ganeshotsava Samithi on 14 September 2026 was conducted with devotion, discipline and great enthusiasm. The idol procession and installation, Ganapathi Pooja, day-long bhajana, Annadanam and grand Ganesha Visarjana collectively made the celebration a memorable occasion.

The participation of the Management, Dean, staff, students, public representatives, local leaders and former employees reflected a strong sense of community, unity, devotion and togetherness. The programme concluded successfully with the Ganesha Visarjana at 9:00 p.m.

Dean

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan

Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan is a alumna of Thanjavur Medical College, where she obtained her medical degree. She further pursued her MD in Physiology from Madras Medical College and an MBA in Hospital Administration from Alagappa University.

Throughout her academic medical career, Dr. Natarajan has served in various capacities at several prominent institutions, including Madras Medical College, Madurai Medical College, Government Medical College Coimbatore, Government KAP Vishwanathan Medical College in Trichy, and Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchipuram. With over 20 years of administrative experience, she has held the position of Dean in multiple medical colleges for more than a decade. Her expertise in faculty training within medical education has earned her widespread recognition.

In addition to her administrative roles, Dr. Natarajan has served as an assessor on the Medical Council of India (MCI) panel for over 15 years. She was also an Ex-Senate member of the MGR University and Secretary of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Natarajan has completed an Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME). Since 2019, she has been serving as the Dean at KVG Medical College and Hospital in Sullia.
