General Information

The Department of Radiodiagnosis at KVGMCH is an integral part of our healthcare delivery system, equipped with cutting-edge machines that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. The department’s cutting-edge facilities and infrastructure cater to the needs of patients and clinicians when it comes to diagnostic imaging, making it a valuable asset to our institution.

Radiodiagnosis, as a field, has come a long way in recent years, owing to the rapid advancements in technology. Recognizing the vital role this discipline plays in modern medicine, KVGMCH has made considerable investments in this department. Our radiodiagnosis facilities boast an extensive collection of the most advanced diagnostic imaging instruments currently available.

The department houses state-of-the-art X-ray machines, which provide high-resolution images that help detect a wide array of conditions ranging from fractures to infections, and from tumors to lung diseases. For more detailed internal examinations, our 2D and 3D ultrasound machines come into play. They offer precise imaging of the body’s internal organs and tissues, which proves critical in diagnosing a multitude of conditions and monitoring the development of fetuses during pregnancy.

Furthermore, our Color Doppler ultrasound technology enables our clinicians to visualize and evaluate blood flow through a blood vessel, including the body’s major arteries and veins. This non-invasive test can help diagnose many conditions, including blood clots and poor circulation.

We also offer mammography services, which are crucial for early detection of breast cancer, and the CT & MRI scanner machines provide high-resolution images of internal body structures, greatly aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of various health conditions, including cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders.

However, having the most advanced equipment is not sufficient in itself. The interpretation of these imaging studies is equally critical. Our team of dedicated and highly skilled radiologists is the backbone of our radiodiagnosis department. They are well-trained to interpret these complex images, helping to pinpoint anomalies and provide accurate diagnoses. Their round-the-clock service ensures that no patient’s needs go unattended, regardless of the hour.

The affordability of our services is another crucial aspect that distinguishes our radiodiagnosis department. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality healthcare services. Therefore, we offer our top-tier radiodiagnosis services at rates that are affordable for a wide range of patients.

The combined expertise of our team, along with our state-of-the-art equipment and commitment to affordability, has earned our radiodiagnosis department appreciation from both the Institute and our patients. We continue to strive for excellence in serving our patients with the highest standard of care.
