About AOLE

The Academy of Liberal Education (AOLE) is a beacon of educational excellence, established in the year 1975. This esteemed institution was founded by the visionary Dr. Kurunji Venkataramana Gowda. As its first president, Dr. KVG, along with a team of dedicated members, set the foundation for an institution that would go on to transform countless lives and communities.

The primary objective of AOLE was a noble one – to uplift the marginalized citizens of underdeveloped areas like Sullia, that were lagging behind in terms of development during that period. Dr. KVG was a firm believer in the power of education to bring about social change. He believed that the true worth of a person could only be realized through education. It was this conviction that drove him to establish AOLE, with a vision of making quality education accessible to even the most underprivileged sections of society.

Over the decades, AOLE has grown exponentially, branching out into a multitude of disciplines. From a humble beginning, it has blossomed into a comprehensive educational conglomerate that encompasses colleges of Pharmacy, Technical Education, Ayurveda, Dental Studies, Nursing, and Medical Sciences. Today, the AOLE banner proudly flies over 14 institutions spread across Sullia, Bhagamandala, and Bangalore.

With the passage of time, the reputation of the AOLE and its institutions has grown, attracting students from every corner of the country. At present, over 11000 students are benefitting from the superior educational services provided by the KVG Educational Institutes under the AOLE umbrella. These students come from diverse backgrounds, united by their shared desire for quality education.

In addition to being a provider of education, AOLE has also played a significant role as an employer. Over the years, it has created numerous employment opportunities, contributing not just to individual livelihoods but also to the broader economic development of the regions in which its institutions are located.
