In celebration of World ORS Day on 29th July 2024 at KVG Medical College and Hospital Sullia, the Department of Paediatrics and Community Medicine organized a awareness program, to highlight the importance of the life-saving merits of ORS in averting and treating dehydration caused by diarrhea.

KVG Medical College and Hospital Sullia, Celebrated National Doctors Day with the theme “Wings & Stethoscopes: Healers of Hope” on 1St July 2024, presided by Dr. K.V. Chidananda, President AOLE®, Medical Director, KVGMCH, and Dr.Neelambikai Natarajan, Dean KVGMCH.

To observe the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Department of Psychiatry organized a program on 29th June 2024 at KVG Medical College and Hospital Sullia. Miss Saraswathi, Police Sub Inspector, Sullia, and Dr.Anil Kakunje, Prof & HOD, Dept of Psychiatry, Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore were the resource persons on the day.

World Blood Donors Day was celebrated at KVG Medical College and Hospital Sullia on 14th June 2024, with the theme “20 years of celebrating giving: Thank You Blood Donors”. To raise awareness for this important day, KVGMCH hosted a special ‘Blood Donation Drive’ on Saturday, 8 June 2024.
