The private coeducational institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The institute is located in Sullia in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka.
KVG Medical College & Hospital is sponsored by the Academy of Liberal Education, Sullia. It has one of the largest educational complexes in India. The campus is a unique place of learning in India. The Institute KVG Medical College and Hospital was established in year 2002 by Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President of Academy Of Liberal Education (R), Sullia, D.K. with an aim of producing world class professionals in specialized field of Medical sciences. The Institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Karnataka) Bangalore and is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
