Introduction & Registration
The Department of Pathology successfully organized PATHO SPECTRUM 2026 – Integrated CME on Gynecologic and Breast Pathology on 23 June 2026 as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of KVG Medical College S Hospital, Sullia. The CME attracted more than 270 delegates comprising faculty members, postgraduate students and practicing pathologists from medical colleges across Karnataka. The registration process commenced in the morning and delegates enthusiastically participated throughout the scientific programme.

The programme commenced with an invocation rendered by MBBS students Mr. Krupanidhi and Mr. Rakshith

Welcome Address
Dr. Sathyavathi R. Alva, Professor and Head, Department of Pathology and Organizing Chairperson, welcomed the dignitaries, speakers and delegates.
Inauguration
Dr. Neelambikai Natarajan, Dean, KVG Medical College S Hospital, formally inaugurated the CME and highlighted the importance of continuous medical education and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Presidential Address
Dr. K. V. Chidananda, President, AOLE, appreciated the department for organizing the CME during the Silver Jubilee celebrations.

6. Conclusion
PATHO SPECTRUM 2026 was a resounding success. The scientific deliberations, enthusiastic delegate participation and seamless organization made the CME one of the major academic events conducted as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The programme strengthened academic collaboration and updated participants on recent advances in gynecologic and breast pathology, thereby contributing to improved diagnostic practice and patient care.
